Evan Fay

The furniture produced by Evan Fay is very unique. It combines a hard metal bracket and a soft cushion. The combination of two materials with different properties complements each other. It also makes me want to observe this piece of furniture in 360 degrees.

At first I thought this sculpture was done with plaster, but later I found that soft foam rubber was used to shuttle it in every interval. These two works bring out the movement in the picture at the same time it also softened the neat skeleton structure.
